首先这是因为你装了 VSCodeVim 插件，这个是 VSCodeVim 的更新提示，跟 VSCode 没关系。这个功能是说，当你使用 Vim 的 EX Command 的时候，你可以指定用你本地的 NeoVim 来处理这些 commands，这样就不用使用 JS 实现的功能有限的 EX Command 了。

@plqws 我感觉活跃度很不错。二月底开发了一个插件，陆陆续续收到几个 pr 以及用户的邮件反馈。
当然，你吐槽的点的确有可能存在，毕竟每个人感受不同。但是，在吐槽之前，我觉得有几点可能是你需要考虑的：
1. 有一个完整的 readme 。如果没法把文档做到很好，至少我们要有一个把项目描述清楚的 readme 。“ A remote synchronous extension ” ，恕我脑洞不够大，我实在想不到这个 remote sync 是用来 sync 啥的。
2. 指明 License 。 MIT ， GPL 还是 Apache ？其他开发并不知道你的项目会接受怎样的 contribution 。
3. 指明 Roadmap 。只有一句“ still in progress ”，我们并不知道你是不是在憋个大招，这种情况下，我们并不敢修改你的代码，说不定你就改的面目全非了。
4. 如果你太忙了，告诉后来者。
最后，用户才提了两个 feature request 你都不能速度完成，反而期待其他开发者来贡献， I don't really get the point.
当然，你没感受到太多的开发热度，也许是因为你是先行者，你开发插件的时候， extension api 才放出来一个月呢，很多同学还没有 pick up 足够的知识。作为先行者，一定是孤独寂寞的，但是成功的几率也更高。
