CS 读研后进游戏工作室的人认识一些,但还没见过任何一个人能坚持下来,基本最后都因为钱都到互联网公司了

@Chefback 但最近一两年有个很严重的问题,新冠过后北美毕业生就业市场非常糟糕。。。 现在建议排除掉先读研这个选项,说实话我也不知道有啥比较可行的办法。 要是五六年前的话我会强烈建议读研的

感觉要么先在国内在海外也比较出名的游戏公司工作一段时间,搞点简历背景,funplus 、腾讯、米哈游等等出海比较强的公司,有了工作经验之后再投投海外。或者像楼上说的出国留学,然后直接在本地找工作。就客户端或者引擎一条路走到黑,别碰服务器端。

要么是留学校招进去从头开始
要么就是国内有资深的游戏行业经验,社招跳去 但我就是游戏行业的,我只能说第二个路子非常难,不是语言的问题,而是环境和专业的问题 |

看了一下 CDPR 的北美 office 在温哥华。那社招还是可能的,加拿大工作签证比美国好拿多了。
当然先过去留学容易点,要走社招路线的话,先找个外国游戏公司的中国部门(比如 ubi shanghai ),以后社招跳会比较容易点。不进游戏外企直接跳就太难了。 |

如果是国内的话,目前你起码要在国内的知名公司工作,比如米哈游、tx ,参加一些知名的项目,英语不错的话,可以试着投简历或者内推了。

@Rothschild 举个例子,加拿大的公司招聘外国人需要向移民局递交的材料摞起来超过一个成年人的身高。可能是可能,但是没意义。

@LandCruiser 你只要是在米哈游腾讯网易这些不错的地方工作过+英语好,完全可能,外国学历留学经历不重要

@Rothschild 这种人很多呀,但是每年从中国直接工签过去加拿大工作的码农也就是个位数,除了温哥华的亚马逊在中国捞人,其他的没听说。
