About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Architect to lead best practices for our commercial real estate cloud & bigdata platform. You should be a proven architect with excellent relationship-building and solution-design skills;very passionate and active on your work;and always stay positive.
Responsibilities
-Work side-by-side with project owner to ensure service capabilities’ consistency;maintainability;and high-scalability
-Design and document the solution architecture from end-to-end;and top-to-bottom;with best practices and design patterns
-Make architectural decisions;balancing stakeholder requirements & technical feasibilities
-Apply Agile and DevOps technologies and practices in the projects
-Identify qualitative and quantitative technical risk factors around internal and external security and privacy compliance
-Develop proof-of-concept pilot solution projects to address key architectural concerns and feasibility
-Commit to hands-on technical design and code reviews
-Effectively communicate complex technical solutions through excellent written and verbal skills
-Learn cutting-edge technologies and evaluate if our system can benefit from it. Innovative attitude is very welcome during our daily work.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science;Electronic Engineering or related majors
· Fluent in English and Mandarin
· 10+ years software development experience and 3+ years acting in an architect or engineering lead role
· Hands-on experience in cloud-native and microservice architecture;domain-driven design, RESTful Services;using languages such as Java;Python;Go;JavaScript
· Hands-on experience working in a distributed & cloud-based environment, e.g. Alibaba Cloud;Azure, AWS;GCP, Tencent Cloud
· Experience with continuous integration;unit testing;static analysis;automated integration tests;continuous delivery and other DevOps practices
· Familiar with Containerization;e.g. Docker;Kubernetes;Istio Service Mesh
· Familiar with PaaS with resources such as database;caching;message queue;search engine;gateway
· Familiar with IaaS with resources such as server;storage;and networking devices & configurations
· Experience with Agile/Scrum management
· Teamwork ability with passion & energy
Bonus
· Experience on big data technologies and platforms;e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka Streams;Apache Airflow
· Experience on information security and data privacy practices
· Experienced in commercial real estate or property technology
· Architect certifications from cloud platforms
