There is hardly any business area that is not affected by the Big Data wave, but customers struggle with a broad adoption due to the complexity of the solutions and lack of guidance from trusted suppliers.
SAP offers a solution that consists of the newly build SAP Data Intelligence product, it relies on SAP’s strong data management platforms and SAP HANA and includes Enterprise Information Management capabilities.
Our team has the mission to design and develop a massively scalable, multi-tenant aware and extremely fast Big Data solution that runs in multi-cloud environments. Besides cluster and landscape management it also includes engines like relational or graph and distributed query processing.
We are looking for people to build up SAP Data Intelligence development team in Xian, China.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As developer in the SAP Data Intelligence team you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues. You will need to:
* Develop software and tools and ensure the software quality
* Can multiply your skills by actively mentoring other resources within the team
* Continually enhance your existing skills and seek new areas for personal development
Education and Qualifications:
Required skills:
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields with 0-7 years of professional experience
* A solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structure, algorithms, and software design
* Good Java, Go, Node.js or other programming skills
* Basic knowledge of scripting language (for example in Python, server side Java script, SQL)
* Good oral, listening and reading skills of English.
* Willingness to take responsibility, drive new developments, and work creatively on challenging and groundbreaking development tasks in accordance with the highest technical standards, plus a high level of commitment, team-spirit, flexibility, and initiative
Preferred skills(one or more):
* Knowledge in big data, data analysis, machine learning.
* Knowledge in cloud scale distributed systems
* Knowledge in Docker, container and container orchestration
