这几个应用经常占用近 1G 内存，是不是苹果想暗示：该升级你的电脑了。。。

2013的rmbp，系统是10.10.3，图：

这是开机后不到一个小时的状态。

kenel_task 有时甚至达 1.5G。

当 WindowServer 近 1G 时就是各种卡顿。。。

有遇到类似问题的吗？

上面是**开机后不到一小时**的情况，就是用爆后重启的。
当用上一两天，上面的那些单位估计都换成 GB 了。
系统是 8G 内存，的确很快就用满了。
还把半透明效果给关闭了。
也怀疑是内存泄露，每次升级都期待不要再有问题，可每次都失望！

@tuimaochang 感谢纠正，只能给苹果跪了。为什么越发感觉是会是内存泄露的问题。。。
@mactaew 改习惯吧，过段时间主动重启。而不是原来各种被迫重启才会让我重启的节奏

WindowServer (aka Window Manager) Responsible for managing the computer's display and mediating between the various Applications and other processes that want to display information on it. It also does the grunt work of launching new user applications, so most user processes are actually its children in the process hierarchy.

小结：10.10 透明磨砂之类的效果较多，估计 windowServer 用的内存和 cpu 较多。
可通过 Accessibility -> Display -> Reduce transparency 减少部分效果

之前发现机器很卡, 然后打开 Monitor 一看. iTerm2 用了 26G 内存, 想想都醉了.

@likid 感谢科普，之前倒没想到去搜搜这个进程。我开始以为是内存的问题，现在是16G一样卡。透明也很早就关了，或许只剩最后一招了就是增强对比度，不过我比较大众的审美确实很难接受。

虽然每天结束工作的时候都是直接盖上盖子带回家的
但是
第二天一早工作开始之前都会先进行一次关机再开机的步骤 ...

公司的黑苹果比家里的rmbp还要流畅，价格前者是后者的三分之一

用这条命令重启windowserver

sudo killall -HUP WindowServer

效果相当于注销了一次，不过注销不会重启WindowServer

根据我的研究，windowsserver这玩意每次osx升级都会出问题，从很老的lion开始就这样，英文世界里面到处都能找到这货出问题的帖子

8G，开 Xcode 码字，WaterFox 看网页。可以坚持半个月以上不用重启。

But Xcode 和 WaterFox 就得重启好几次了，为了释放内存，囧

Memory Pressure: The Memory Pressure graph helps illustrate the availability of memory resources. The graph moves from right to left and updates at the intervals set in View > Update Frequency. The current state of memory resources is indicated by the color at the right side of the graph:
Green: Memory resources are available.
Yellow: Memory resources are still available but are being tasked by memory-management processes, such as compression.
Red: Memory resources are depleted, and OS X is using your startup drive for memory. To make more RAM available, you can quit one or more apps or install more RAM. This is the most important indicator that your Mac may need more RAM.

上面大家内存都很充足，主观上的性能下降并不是内存导致的。
