ABOUT YOU

ABOUT YOU

FreeWheel is hiring a Beijing-based Software Engineer to Forecasting Team.
Forecasting team builds, improves and maintains the high performance, high availability Forecasting service which helps FreeWheel clients gain insight into their inventory business by planning ahead, better monetizing their inventory by knowing exactly what to sell at what price.

ABOUT YOU
1. Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related majors.
2. Solid programming/debugging/troubleshooting/profiling skills in backend development.
3. Proficient in C++, data structure and algorithm.
4. Proficient in script language, Python is preferred.
5. Proficient in mainstream database, MySQL is preferred.
6. Knowledge of Golang is a good plus.
7. Knowledge of big data processing is a good plus.
8. Mathematics expert is a good plus.
9. Data mining/deep learning is a good plus.
10. Fluent in English, good communication.
11. Detail oriented, flexible and works well in a team-oriented environment.

For Senior
1. 3+ years of software development experience, lead experience is a good plus.
2. Proficient in at least one popular NoSQL database.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a member of our quality assurance team, you will work closely with product management team and development team to design / test features, and build / maintain QA automation test suites for our dynamic video advertising systems. You will collaborate with other team members to jointly design and deliver solutions to ensure the quality of our software products. You are also required to support real clients’ activities / questions in US.

ABOUT YOU
• Very good knowledge in HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax;
• Solid SQL programming experience, MySQL preferred;
• Strong hands-on experience in testing tools such as Cucumber / Selenium, Hudson, TestLink, JIRA, etc;
• Solid knowledge and experience in Ruby, Python or other scripting language;

As a software QA in FreeWheel Backend-Reporting team focus on large scale distributed log processing (Map/Reduce) and Business Intelligent product.
Requirement:
• Computer Science major with master degree.
• Strong interest on various QA technology and practice.
• More than 2 years experience on QA/Software Testing/SDET, familiar w Linux/MySQL/C++/Python is required.
• Experience on the backend or server side of distributed system, data warehouse, data mining or e-Commerce are preferred.
• Experience on program profiling and automation test are preferred.
• Frequently in English, good communication.
