DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with independent teams to optimize existing deployment strategies
2. Maintain and improve infrastructure/service availability and observability
3. Plan and execute cost optimization strategies
4. Coordinate on-call schedules within the DevOps team
5. Your role can be expanded into other areas if you're interested

Requirements:

1. Self-motivated and able to communicate and collaborate with other engineers
2. Proficiency with K8s
3. Proficiency with AWS/GCP
4. Proficiency with Terraform/Helm
5. Base in Europe or North America

Nice to have:

1. Web3 knowledge and/or experience
2. Experience wtih Golang/Python development
3. Experience with PostgreSQL/CockroachDB/ElasticSearch/Redis/Kafka
4. Basic proficiency in Mandarin

Why is the job based in Europe or North America if it is a fully-remote role with very flexible working hours? Is there a specific time zone requirement or other regional considerations for the role?

For coordinate on-call schedules within the DevOps team, how many DevOps guys do you have now? (if less than 5, everyone is always trired.)
