underwriters（复数）指承保人/核保人：在保险中评估风险并决定是否承保、以什么条件承保的人或机构；在证券发行中指承销商/承销机构，负责评估发行风险、协助定价并向投资者销售证券（有时还会承诺包销一定份额）。常见单数：underwriter。
