嵌入疑问句 / 间接疑问句：指作为从句出现在另一个句子中的疑问结构，通常不使用直接疑问句的语序（如多数情况下不倒装）。常见于 I wonder… / I don’t know… / Can you tell me… 等结构之后。也可泛指“嵌入在更大句子中的疑问从句”。（不同语法体系中术语用法略有差异。）
